How Corporate CAT works Employers who participate in the Corporate CAT program sell CAT's $36 Adult 31-Day Pass to their employees for $30.00. Employees get the benefit of a $6 discount and the convenience of buying their passes at their workplace. And it's hassle-free to the employer. Passes are delivered to employees on a consignment basis. You pay only for those passes your employees buy.--> Cost to the employer Only an hour or two of one employee's time each month. Benefits to the employee Savings on gas, oil, maintenance and parking. Convenience of buying passes at the workplace. Reduced insurance rates to persons who don't use their vehicles to commute. Less wear and tear on vehicles left at home. Unlimited rides with adult monthly passes. The Corporate CAT Program is hassle-free Call CATA at 375-6717 and we'll furnish a survey form that will help you determine employee interest. We'll provide personal trip-planning assistance, schedules and system maps to your employees. Tell us when you want to begin the program and how many posses you want us to deliver. On or about the 20th of the month, CATA will deliver your passes. On the 20th of the following month we'll pick up your check for passes you've sold and replenish your supply of passes for the next month, if necessary. You can change you order or cancel the program at any time. Employers may subsidize Employee Bus Passes as a non-taxable fringe benefit You may subsidize your employees' monthly pass cost as a non-taxable fringe benefit, excludable as employee income and fully deductible by the firm.
