Snow Routes

The following are basic routes on which buses operate in periods of ice and snow. Because of variable conditions from one period of inclement weather to another, we recommend that you call or e-mail us to confirm the route. E-mail requests are monitored between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. You may reach us by telephone at 375-1163, 375-1165, or 375-6717 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on snow/ice days.

Route 1 - Pulaski Heights

Outbound:
From the River Cities Travel Center, regular route to 2nd and Cross Streets, left on Cross, right on 3rd, regular route to Kavanaugh and McKinley, left on McKinley, right on Perrville, right on Cantrell to T St. Right on T St. to Keightly, right on Keightly to Cantrell.

Inbound
Regular Route

Route 2 - South Main

Outbound:
From the River Cities Travel Center, regular route to 23rd and State Streets, left on State, left on 28th to Arch.

Inbound:
Left on Arch, right on 23rd, left on Main, regular route to Travel Center.

Route 3 - Baptist Medical Center

Outbound:
This route does not serve University Mall/Doctors Hospital and the Arkansas Heart Hospital on snow/ice days. From the River Cities Travel Center, regular route to 12th and University. Continue 12th to Kanis. If Kanis is closed, turn right on Rodney Parham to I-630 West, exit at Baptist Medical Center, left on Lile, right on Emergency Dr., right on Kanis, right on Medical Center Drive, right on Lile Drive.

Inbound:
If Kanis is closed, leave BMC to I-630 East to Rodney Parham exit, left on Rodney Parham to 12th, left on 12th to Battery, left on Battery. Right on 7th, left on Woodlane, right on Capitol, left on Arch, right on 4th, right on Cumberland, left to Travel Center.

Route 4 - Levy / Amboy

Outbound
Mid-Day - Levy (no Amboy service). From the Travel Center, right on Cumberland, left on 3rd, right on Broadway, right on W. Broadway in North Little Rock, right on Maple, left on Washington, left on Main. Continue Main, to left on 22nd, right on Willow, left on Pershing, right on Percy Machen to Pike, right on Camp Robinson to Lindenhurst. Continue Camp Robinson to Remount Rd., turn in convenience store parking lot, proceed south on Camp Robinson to Lindenhurst.

Inbound
Mid-Day - Levy (no Amboy service). Continue south on Camp Robinson, right on 47th, left on Allen, right on Camp Robinson, left on Pike to Percy Machen. Left on Pershing, right on Willow, left on 22nd, right on Main, right on 8th, left on Maple, cross Main St. bridge & continue Scott, left on 4th, right to Travel Center.

Outbound
AM & PM Peak - (service to Amboy): From the Travel Center, right on Cumberland, left on 3rd, right on Broadway to North Little Rock, right on W. Broadway, right on Maple, left on Washington, left on Main. Continue Main, left on 22nd, right on Willow, left on Pershing, right on Percy Machen to Pike, right on Camp Robinson to Lindenhurst. Continue Camp Robinson to Remount Rd. Turn in convenience store parking lot, & proceed south on Camp Robinson, right on 47th, left on Pike, right on Parkway, right on Military. Cross MacArthur, continue 3 blocks to church on left and turn around.

Inbound
AM & PM Peak - (service to Amboy): Right on Military, left on Parkway, left on Pike, right on 47th, right on Allen, right on Camp Robinson, left on Pike to Percy Machen. Left on Pershing, right on Willow, left on 22nd, right on Main, right on 8th, left on Maple, cross Main St. bridge & continue Scott, left on 4th, right to Travel Center.

Route 5 - West Markham

Outbound
This route does not serve University Mall/Doctors Hospital on snow/ice days. From the Travel Center, left on 4th, left on Cumberland, right on 6th, right on Broadway, left on 3rd. Continue 3rd to Markham, continue to left into entrance to St. Vincent. Circle drive back to Markham, left on Markham, left on Chenal Parkway, right on Bowman, right into drive by Taco Bell, circle lot to right, continue to bus stop at Wal-Mart.

Inbound
Continue drive in Wal-Mart lot and turn left just past end of building, proceed to traffic light. Left on Bowman, right on Chenal Parkway, left on Shackleford, and right on Markham to Mississippi. Continue Markham to St. Vincent Hospital, right on St. Vincent Drive, circle back to Markham. Continue Markham to Broadway, right on Broadway, left on 4th St., right on Cumberland, left into Travel Center.

Night & Sunday Service

Outbound
Regular snow route to St. Vincent (see outbound above). Circle drive back to Markham. Bus will stop on drive approximately 100 feet before Markham St. & wait for transfers from the other West Markham, Mabelvale & Rodney Parham buses. Continue regular snow route to Wal-Mart (see #5 snow route above).

Inbound
Regular snow route to St. Vincent, right on St. Vincent Drive. Circle drive back to West Markham. Bus will stop on drive approximately 100 feet before Markham St. & wait for transfers from the other West Markham, Rodney Parham and Mabelvale buses. Continue regular snow route to River Travel Center.

Route 6 - Granite Mountain

Outbound
From the Travel Center, left on Rock, left on 4th, left on Cumberland, right on Capitol, left on Louisiana, left on 9th, right on Cumberland, left on 11th, right on Commerce, right on 14th, left on Rock, left on 21st, right on Barber to Confederate to Springer. Continue Springer to right turn into parking lot at recreation center.

Inbound
Right on California, left on Springer to Confederate, cross Roosevelt, left on first street between Fire Station and the Shopping Center. Right on Roosevelt, right on McAlmont, left on 24th, right on the service road, left on 21st, right on Rock, right on 14th, left on Commerce, left on 11th, right on Scott, right on 4th, right to Travel Center.

Route 7 - East Ninth St.

Outbound and Inbound
Regular route.



Route 8 - Rodney Parham

Outbound
From the Travel Center, left on Rock, left on 3rd to Markham & Kavanaugh. Continue Markham, right on Rodney Parham, left on Green Mountain, left on Rainwood.

Inbound
Continue Rainwood, left on Merrill, right on Rodney Parham, left on Markham to Mississippi. Continue Markham to 3rd, right on Louisiana, left on 4th, right into Travel Center. End of line.

Evening and Sunday Service on Rodney Parham (from University Mall)

Outbound
Leave St. Vincent Drive to left turn on Markham, right on Rodney Parham, regular route to Green Mountain & Rainwood.

Inbound
Bus does not serve University Mall/Doctor's Hospital. From Merrill and Rodney Parham, regular snow route to Markham and University. Continue Markham to right turn into St. Vincent Drive, circle back to Markham. Stop before reaching Markham to await transfers from the West Markham and Mabelvale buses.

Route 10 - McCain Mall

Outbound
From the Travel Center, right on Cumberland, left on 3rd, right on Broadway to North Little Rock. Right on West Broadway, right on Maple, left on Washington, left on Main. Continue Main Street, left on 22nd, right on Willow, right on Pershing, left on Main to JFK & McCain (If McCain Blvd. is closed off JFK, bus will continue JFK, right on Lakeview, left on McCain.) Right on Springhill Dr., right into Emergency/Employee entrance to Baptist Memorial Medical Center.

Inbound Continue around drive at Baptist Memorial and turn left on first drive, proceed to stop sign. Turn left and continue drive to second stop sign, turn left and continue to traffic signal. Left on Springhill Dr, left on McCain and continue McCain to left turn on JFK. If McCain Blvd. is closed off at JFK, bus will continue JFK to right on Lakeview, left on JFK to McCain. Continue JFK to Main, right off Main on Pershing, left on Willow, left on 22nd, right on Main, right on 8th, left on Maple. Cross bridge into Little Rock and continue on Scott. Left on 4th St. to Travel Center.

Route 11 - Martin Luther King

Outbound
From the Travel Center, left on 4th, left on Cumberland, right on 6th, left on Arch, right on 7th, left on M. L. King to 24th. Continue MLK to right on 33rd, left on Bishop, left on 34th to MLK.

Inbound
Regular route.

Route 13 - Pulaski Tech

Outbound
From the Travel Center, right on Cumberland, left on 3rd,right on Broadway into North Little Rock. Right on W. Broadway, right on Maple, left on Washington, left on Main. Continue Main, left on 4th, right on 3rd, right on Pike to 18th St. Continue Pike, left on Pershing, continue up hill to rear gate of Fort Roots. Right on Cypress, left on 4th to left on Pine, between Buildings #66 and 68. Continue Pine under the two wooden archways to the bus pullout, just past the covered walkway.

Inbound
Continue Pine, left on 1st, right on Pershing to Pershing Extended. Do not enter Sara Daisy Gardens. Continue Pershing, right on Pike, left on 4th, right on Maple & continue to Scott in Little Rock to left on 4th, right into Travel Center.

Route 14 - Rosedale

Outbound
From the Travel Center, left on 4th, left on Cumberland, right on 6th, left on Broadway, right on 20th to MLK, left on MLK, right on Roosevelt. Regular route to Our Way, but bus does not enter Our Way complex.

Inbound
Regular route inbound to Roosevelt and Schiller. Continue Roosevelt, left on MLK, right on 20th, left on Broadway, right on 4th, right on Cumberland, left into Travel Center.

Route 15 - Sixty-Fifth Street

Outbound:
From the River Cities Travel Center, regular route to 65th and Scott Hamilton, left on 65th to Lancaster.

Inbound:
Left on Lancaster, right on Young Rd., left on Geyer Springs, left on Baseline Road, left on Scott Hamilton, right on 65th, left on Arch, right on 23rd St. Left on Fair Park Blvd. to 29th St., right on 29th, left on Lewis, right on 22nd, left on Pine, right on 20th. Regular route to Travel Center.

Route 16 - UALR

Outbound
From the Travel Center, left on Rock, left on 4th, left on Cumberland, right on Capitol, left on Louisiana, left on 9th, right on Main, right on 17th to Wright Avenue. Right on Woodrow, left on 20th, left on Lewis to 25th. Continue Lewis to right on 29th, left on Fair Park and right on 32nd. Right on East Campus Drive, left on 28th, left on W. Campus Drive to bus stop at 32nd.

Inbound
Left on 32nd, left on Fair Park to 29th, right on 29th, left on Lewis, right on 22nd, left on Pine, right on 20th. Continue 20th, right on Woodrow, left on Wright Avenue to 17th, left on Main, right on 12th, left on Scott, right on 4th, turn right into Travel Center.

Route 17 - Mabelvale- Downtown

Outbound
From Travel Center, left on 4th, left on Cumberland, right on Capitol, left on Woodlane, right on 7th, left on Marshall, right on I-630 West. Exit I-630 at South University and continue University to left on Forbing, right on Geyer Springs, right on Baseline.

Inbound
Continue Baseline, turn left into second drive of Wal-Mart parking lot and proceed to front of store. Continue drive through parking lot to Baseline Road, right on Baseline, left on Geyer Springs, Left on Forbing, right on University Avenue to right on I-630 East. Exit at Marshall and continue to left turn on MLK to Woodlane, to right on 4th. Continue 4th to right on Rock, turn right into Travel Center.

Route 17A - Mabelvale / UALR

Outbound
Originates at UALR. From bus stops at 32nd St. & West Campus Drive, travel W. Campus to right on Asher, left on University. Continue University to left on 65th St., right on Geyer Springs Road, right on Baseline Road to Chicot Road. Continue Baseline to west entrance to Wal-Mart (in front of store).

Inbound
Continue drive in Wal-Mart parking lot to Baseline Road. Right on Baseline, left on Geyer Springs, left on 65th, right on University, right on 28th, right on West Campus Drive to bus stop at 32nd Street.

Night & Sunday Service

Outbound
Bus does not serve University Mall/Doctors Hospital. Bus travels from St. Vincent Drive to left on Markham, left on University, left on 28th St, right on West Campus Drive to bus stop at 32nd St. & West Campus Drive. Travel West Campus Drive to right on Asher, left on University. Continue University to left on 65th, right on Geyer Springs Road, right on Baseline to Chicot. Continue Baseline to west entrance to Wal-Mart, to front of store.

Inbound
Continue drive in Wal-Mart parking lot to Baseline Road, right on Baseline, left on Geyer Springs, left on 65th St., right on University, right on Asher, left on West Campus Drive to bus stop at 32nd. Right on 32nd to left on East Campus Drive, left on 28th, right on University. Continue University to Markham, right on Markham, right into St. Vincent Drive. circle back to Markham. The bus will stop prior to reaching Markham to await transfers from other buses.

Route 18 - McAlmont

Outbound
From the Travel Center, right on Cumberland, left on 3rd, right on Broadway into North Little Rock. Right on West Broadway, right on Maple, left on Washington, left on Palm, right on 4th, left on Range Line Avenue, right on Sam Evans. Right on Dixie, left on Broadway, left on Glenview, left on Ira, right on Ben, right on 19th, left on Edmonds, right on Bethany to left on Hwy 161. Continue Hwy 161 to Harris Elementary School.

Inbound
Left on Hwy 161 from Harris Elementary School. Continue Hwy 161 to right on Bethany, left on Edmonds, right on 19th, left on Ben, left on Ira to right on Glenview. Continue Glenview to right on Broadway, right on Dixie, left on Sam Evans, left on Range Line Avenue, right on 4th, left on Palm, right on Washington to left on Maple. Cross Main St. bridge to Scott, continue Scott to left on 4th, right into Travel Center.

Route 19 - Hensley

Regular route Inbound and Outbound.

Route 20 - College Station

Regular route Inbound and Outbound.

Route 21 - University Avenue

This route is divided during periods of ice and heavy snow to East and South segments. No service is provided up and down Cantrell Hill or on McKinley St., directly west of Park Plaza and University Mall.

Outbound - North Route
From the Travel Center, left on 4th, left on Cumberland, right on Capitol, right on Center, left on Markham, right on Chester, left on Cantrell Road, right on Riverfront, left on Cedar Hill, right on Rebsamen Park, left on Old Cantrell to Magnolia. East Route ends.

Inbound - North Route
Right on Magnolia, right on Lilac Terrace, right on Rebsamen Park, left on Cedar Hill, right on Riverfront, left on Cantrell, right on Cross, left on Markham, right on Louisiana, left on 4th, right on Rock, right into Travel Center.

Outbound - South Route
During periods of ice and snow, service is not provided on McKinley (west of Park Plaza and J. C. Penney). From St. Vincent Hospital Drive, left on Markham, left on University, left on 28th, right on West Campus Drive to bus stop at 32nd St. Continue West Campus Drive to right on University Drive, left on University Avenue, right on Asher, right on Bryant.

Inbound - South Route
Continue Bryant to right on 32nd St., left on University Avenue to Markham. Continue Markham to right on St. Vincent Drive. Circle back toward Markham, stopping just before reaching the street to await transfers from other buses.
